Jefferson Roblee 

 

Head Coach

 

Jefferson Roblee is in his sixth year as the Head Coach of the Kansas City Brass of the Premier Development League. Roblee was hired April 15, 2002 and became the third Head Coach in KC Brass history (Robi Goff & Jim Schwab). Since 2002, the KC Brass roster has been comprised of almost entirely players from the Kansas City metropolitan area that are U23 age. In that same time the Brass has improved their record in 4 of the past 5 PDL seasons. Today the KC Brass is considered one of the nation's top amateur teams for players with professional soccer ambition. In the past six years 22 KC Brass players have been drafted or signed professionally by clubs in Europe, Major League Soccer, USL-1 or the Major Indoor Soccer League. 

Roblee is very active in the soccer community and has a history of developing elite players and elite teams. In 2005 his U17 KC Pace boys youth soccer team became the first non St. Louis club team to win a Missouri State Cup championship in a high school age group. In 2006, his U18 KC Pace team repeated as Missouri State Cup champions. Besides coaching the KC Pace to Missouri State Cup championships in 2005 & 2006, Roblee also coached 80/81 KC United team to U19 and U20 Kansas State Cup championships in 2000 and 2001. 

In the Fall of 2007 Roblee will begin his second year as the Associate Head Coach for men's and women's soccer at William Jewell College. In Roblee’s first year the men’s and women’s programs combined for a record of 32 wins, 7 losses and 4 ties. The record includes the men's team becoming the first team in Heart of American Athletic Conference history to finish the conference season a perfect 9-0-0. The WJC men went on to also win the Region V Championship, qualify for the National Tournament and advance to the National Final Four.

In 2003 Roblee coached the Kansas high school senior boys in the Kansas vs Missouri Senior All Star Game at Arrowhead Stadium. Roblee also was the coach of the Missouri 87 ODP (Olympic Development Program) boys team from 2001-2004 and directed the Wizards Youth Training Program from 2001-2005. Roblee is very active in all William Jewell College All Star Soccer Camps as well as the MYSA ODP Academy at William Jewell College and the KC Pace FastForward Program. 

Roblee played college soccer at The University of Tulsa for coach Randy Waldrum before finishing his communications degree at Park University. He played his high school soccer at nearby Winnetonka for coaches Don Gianola and Glenn Rosario and played club soccer for George Derra’s UHS Apollos. In addition he played three years in Missouri’s ODP program. 

Roblee has a USSF National coaching license and a NSCAA National Youth Coaching Diploma. He is also a member of the U.S. Soccer Coaches Association and a member of the United States Youth Soccer Coaches Connection. Roblee is also a certified Double-Goal Coach in the Positive Coaching Alliance.
